Katie Price's son Harvey is in hospital.

The 37-year-old star has taken to her Instagram account to reveal that her 13-year-old son has been in hospital, although she hasn't disclosed the specific problem.

Katie posted a picture of herself alongside her son and captioned it: "My brave boy."

In another Instagram photograph, Katie is seen next to her son - whom she had with soccer star Dwight Yorke - with the caption: "Love him sooooo much. (sic)"

This comes shortly after Katie claimed Harvey has made her realise material things don't matter.

Harvey - who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia and Prader-Willi syndrome - has taught Katie how important life is over money or possessions.

She explained: "Material things don't become important because life is life ... Harvey will have no idea what it would be like to pay bills, he lives like the king - he is the king of the house - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

"People think because I have money that I can do this or that, but you can have as much money as you want, it's not going to make anything any better for Harvey - all he wants is paper and crayons!"
