Jess Glynne says attempting to break America is “a dream”.

The 26-year-old British singer has had hits in the UK with tracks such as ‘Hold My Hand’ and ‘Don't Be So Hard on Yourself’ but has yet to make it Stateside.

Jess is kicking off her North American tour on January 18 and is more than a little excited about the prospect.

She said: “Coming to America is a dream! It's one of the biggest challenges that I want to achieve and I'm just so excited that I'm even being recognised over there.”

Jess regularly keeps her fans updated with what’s going on in her life on her various social networking pages, and said she loves updating her followers with new pictures.

She told Celebrity Intelligence: “I think Instagram is my favourite because I love visuals and being creative and I think it's one of the best ways for me to represent what I'm about.”

As well as her music, Jess keeps herself busy with her philanthropic pursuits, and feels very strongly about her charity involvements.

Jess continued: “I'm passionate about a lot of things. One thing I am involved in is the Amy Winehouse Foundation. I think it is so important to give children an opportunity to live their dreams and not feel like it's impossible and this is something that aids help in this area.”
