Kanye West has reportedly fired the contractor working on his new marital home.

The US rapper - who has been living at wife Kim Kardashian West's mother Kris Jenner's house since August - is said to have dismissed workers renovating their Hidden Hills mansion in California after doing a "walk around" with the contractor last week and being left disappointed that so much work was not done.

A source told RadarOnline: "He went around complaining how so many things that were supposed to be done were not.

"He fired the contractor and everyone on the property at the time!

"He's really frustrated that it's taking this long."

Kim and Kanye - who have two-year-old daughter North and seven-week-old son Saint - purchased their new pad in March 2015 but moved in with Kris in August so renovation work could be carried out on their plush property.

It's not an unfamiliar situation for Kim who lived with her mother for a large part of 2014 when her and Kanye's $11 million Bel Air abode was being worked on.

Just last week, Kim offered to pay her mother Kris $1 million to give back some marble she "stole" from her daughter after she moved in with her.

In a clip from 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', Kim moaned at the camera: "When we moved in with my mom the first time, we bought a whole ton of marble - all these slabs from out of the country, and she took my marble, has never mentioned it, and has never paid for it."

Kris, clearly surprised by Kim's comments, replied: "You're charging me for the marble?"

The raven-haired beauty hit back: "Absolutely. They don't have that same marble. They only have calacatta. They do not have calacatta gold in stock, or I'm going to have to wait."

After Kim's financial incentive, Kris vowed to return the 10 slabs of marble to her daughter, telling her: "If I have to rip it out of that bathroom, I will find you 10 slabs."
