Daisy Lowe's family want her to settle down.

The 27-year-old model has been dating Thomas Cohen - the widower of her late best friend Peaches Geldof - since the beginning of the year and, although her relatives would love to see her get married and have children in the future, she is not "ready" to start a family.

Daisy - whose mother is Pearl Lowe, stepdad is Supergrass Danny Goffey and father is Gavin Rossdale - explained: "I'm a traditional girl. One day. I'm not ready for it any time soon, but yeah, course. My whole family would only want that. They want to see me get married and they want to have grandchildren.

"Make sure we get the 'one day' in because I am having visions of people thinking I've decided I want children now. I'm not ready for that, I want to have lots of fun first."

Daisy and Thomas, 25, sparked rumours they were dating in January when they were spotted locking lips and holding hands while holidaying in Miami, Florida, with a group of friends.

Their blossoming romance ruffled a few feathers initially, considering Daisy's close friendship with Peaches - who had two sons Astala, three, and Phaedra, two, with Thomas - but the brunette beauty has admitted she's stopped caring about what others think the older she's got.

She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "The older I get, the younger I am feeling. I think you just give less of a toss.

"Life is for living and having a laugh. I spent my teenage years and early twenties worrying about everyone else and, actually, life goes on. Things have to roll off your back. You have to enjoy yourself, otherwise what's the point?"
