Olivia Culpo likes to keep details of her dating life private.

She said: "For things like relationships, from what I've grown to learn, the more you protect it and really make it a coveted personal thing and not share it with everyone - the more you can allow it to be personal - the more chance you have of it actually being real and special."

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty admits that she doesn't like to discuss relationship rumours because half the time it's fabricated.

She told People magazine: "I like to think of [the rumors] as just something that you can't take too seriously because a lot of the stuff you do read, even about other people, you know that it's not true."

One rumour surrounding Olivia's love life was the reason for her dumping her now ex-boyfriend Tim Tebow.

According to a source, she decided to call time on their two month romance last November, because the American footballer didn't want to have sex because he doesn't believe in sex before marriage.

An insider said: "He was really into her. He was sending her love letters and cute notes and professing his love for her.

"She had to break up with him because she just couldn't handle it. He still hits her up, but she just can't deal with the sex thing. He's pretty adamant about it, I guess."

However, true to her word Olivia never commented on the reason for their split.
