Charlotte Church thinks Kim Kardashian West is "a t*t" for lashing out at Bette Middler following her naked selfie post.

Despite branding the reality TV star "f*****g gorgeous", the 30-year-old singer and outspoken feminist believes the way she treated the acting legend - who she traded blows with on Twitter after she shared a photograph of herself online standing nude in her bathroom - was wrong.

Charlotte initially dec lared it was a "feminist move" to post the picture and defended the 34-year-old mother-of-two, who is married to Kanye West and has a daughter North, aged two, and a four-month-old son named Saint.

Speaking about the criticism Kim received, at the Women of the World in London, the singer said: "You know, she's just had a baby, so maybe actually that is sort of quite a feminist move."

But Charlotte - who was named one of the UK's top 10 feminist icons in a poll conducted by feminist fashion house Rose and Willard last year – now wishes she hadn't been so nice.

She told The Telegraph newspaper: "I thought, 'why am I defending her?' No. She's a t*t. I just wanted to retract it. She's f*****g gorgeous, I get it, but she's a tit."

After Kim, 34, shared the bathroom selfie, a string of celebrities criticised her for being attention seeking and acting legend Bette, 70, tweeted: "'Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera."

But it didn't impress Kim, who snapped back: "hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding.

"hey @BetteMidler I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu."
