Katie Price didn't want to divorce Peter Andre and thinks they would still be together if they had spoken about their problems.

The 37-year-old star has blamed "certain people" for getting involved in their marriage - which ended in 2009 after four years - and admitted the pair have never sat down with their children, Junior, 10, and eight-year-old Princess, and talked about why their relationship came to an end.

She said: "I didn't want to divorce him. I wanted to be with him. We've never spoken about it because certain people got involved.

    "Certain people wouldn't allow it.

"We've never sat down with the kids together or even together to talk things through.

"We would be together now. But it doesn't matter now."

Katie is now married to former stripper Kieran Hayler - who she has son Jett, two, and 20-month-old daughter Bunny, with - but admitted splitting with Peter "killed" her because she couldn't see her kids all the time.

She said: "It killed me because I had to agree to only have my children for half the time as we shared childcare.

"Princess was only one and a half at the time and Junior was three and I will never forgive that situation."

Katie admitted her kids with Peter - who has daughter Amelia, two, with wife Emily MacDonagh, who he married in July 2015 - don't mind too much that the pair have split because they enjoy spending time with their parents' partners.

Speaking on TV talk show 'Loose Women', the model - who also has 13-year-old son Harvey - added: "The kids love Kieran and Emily and they get love from both of us."

Katie also revealed on the programme that she lost her virginity at 16 - the legal age of consent to have sex in England - but described that as "very late".

She said: "I was very late developing and I didn't lose my virginity until I was 16 after an East 17 concert and Dina Carroll was there as well."
