Kim Kardashian West told Kylie Jenner to "swallow her pride" and make friends with Blac Chyna.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was reportedly the driving force behind her half-sister's recent meet up with the 27-year-old model - who is engaged to her brother Rob Kardashian - and had been working on a meeting between the pair for "a long time".

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Kim knew things couldn’t go on like this. Kim had been working on this for a long time. She told Kylie that whatever Chyna had said about her was because she was hurt. Kim told Kylie to swallow her pride. They spent the day together. It went well."

The 18-year-old television personality had been at odds with Blac in the past over 'Rack City' hitmaker Tyga - who is currently dating Kylie and has three-year-old son King Cairo with Blac.

The pair first feuded over apparent texts sent from the 26-year-old rapper to his ex-fiancée where he seemingly begged to rekindle their relationship, all whilst still with Kylie.

A screenshot of messages allegedly sent from Tyga, and posted on Blac Chyna's Instagram, read: "Can I come for a lil, just us three, do something or spend a lil time, just want to talk real with you (sic)" When she told him she was "busy working", he told her: "Call me when you can, I want to be with u, I want to be positive, I want to be a family again, want to start this friendship, relationship (sic)."

And whilst the rumours about them rekindling their romance have vanished, Rob's new romance with Blac caused the issue to rear its ugly head once again.

Rob, however, is thrilled the girls have buried the hatchet, writing on his Instagram account: "So happy my girls finally got to talk and make peace! #MyFamily #AllLove (sic)."
