Charli XCX won't have parties at home because she doesn't want her furniture to get damaged.

The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker has a lot of "old and vintage" pieces in her house so if she wants to "rave", then she heads for someone else's apartment.

She said: "I invite friends over and we hang out, but I'm really into furniture design, so I'm crazy about my stuff - like if someone spilled wine on my sofa I would go insane. It's old and vintage.

"I have more pizza and movie nights than raves. I go to someone else's to do that."

The 23-year-old singer's dream night out would involve hanging out with goth rocker Marilyn Manson.

She said: "I'd like a mad night out with Marilyn Manson - that would be cool."

The brunette beauty doesn't worry about getting hangovers as she thinks they just prove she had a good time.

She told LOOK magazine: "The Coach party at Paris Fashion Week was so much fun - it was prom themed. My hangover the next day was real, so I think I had a pretty good time."

Charli works very hard on both her music and her fashion range but isn't bothered about missing out on time off.

She said: "I had some time off at the beginning of the year but I love what I do and I like being busy. I hate being bored."
