Robbie Williams' wife fancies Gary Barlow.

Ayda Field may have been married to the 'Candy' hitmaker for six years and have two children Theodora, three, and Charlton, 19 months, with him but she has admitted she's more attracted to his former Take That bandmate, 45.

Appearing on Britain's 'Celebrity Juice', which will air on Friday night, Ayda said: "I've met Gary....I'm going to say ... Gary's dreamy, he's got the blonde hair. He's very charismatic. He's burly, yeah let's go with Gary."

The couple met just before Robbie's second stint in rehab for drug addiction in 2007 and the 37-year-old beauty - who originates from the US - almost called off their date because it got a little too "messy" for her liking.

She explained: "We met on a blind date, actually in Los Angeles. It was before his second stint in rehab, so it got a little messy towards the end. I did not know who he was."

Despite numerous break-ups prior to their wedding in 2010, the pair are very much in love and not only is Ayda proud of Robbie, 42, for his impressive solo career but she also enjoys the fact he's taken up a hobby in metal detection.

She said with a giggle: "Yeah he really loves it [metal detecting]. He's hoping to find a Roman Ruin.

"So far it's been mostly nails and there was a coin ... and he's found a pipe. It's all very exciting."

However, the brunette beauty doesn't think she would have even made it down the aisle over half a decade ago if it wasn't for Cameron Diaz saving their relationship early on.

She said recently: "When we were first going out, a few months into our relationship, we had a break-up. Well we had a couple of break-ups actually. This was the final one and I was shooting a show and he went to the Chateau Marmont, and Cameron Diaz was there. He was talking to her and while he was talking to her, she said to him, 'You obviously still love your girlfriend, you need to go back to her.' He called me that night, we met up and we've been together ever since. So thank you Cameron. I have a very special place (in my heart) for her."
