Emilia Clarke's new movie reduced a rugby team to tears.

The 29-year-old beauty stars alongside Sam Claflin and Jenna Coleman in the romantic-drama movie 'Me Before You', and she has revealed how her performance caused a group of burly men to be reduced to a blubbering mess.

She recalled: "I brought my best friend to see it, and she turned round, sobbing, and said, 'You told me it was a rom-com!' Matt Lewis brought all of his rugby team with him, and he said, 'Mate, you made 12 grown men cry!'"

The brunette beauty, who is best-known for her starring role in the popular HBO series 'Game of Thrones', also admitted she is a romantic at heart.

Emilia told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I watched 'Cinderella' the other day, because my Thrones mate Richard Madden is in it. And it's really good, Disney movies are folk stories. We're all just trying to find magic to elevate the mundane day-to-day life. Rom-coms make you feel like there's hope."

However, the London-born actress said a Rob Reiner-directed movie is her favourite romantic-comedy of all time.

She shared: "When 'Harry Met Sally' is the ultimate for me - I know it all off by heart. Anything with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in it: 'Sleepless In Seattle', 'You've Got Mail'. 'Then Four Weddings And A Funeral'. 'Notting Hill'. They're all shameless - proper stay at home on a Sunday with a box of Kleenex stuff."
