Caitlyn Jenner pays tribute to friend who passed away in motorcycle accident

The 'I Am Cait' star shared a collage of pictures of helicopter pilot Charles T. Aaron and his memorial service, whilst also sending her prayers to Charles' father Chuck, who she says has "lost his best friend".

She wrote on Instagram : "Sad day yesterday. My good friend Charles lost his life on Sunday. My prayers go out to his father @chuckpaaron who lost his best friend. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Chuck previously took to the photo sharing site to announce the tragic news that his son had died.

He wrote: "To all my followers... Last Monday I lost my "best friend" in life to a motorcycle accident. Sweetest, kindest, most honorable and gentle man you could ever want to meet... My loving Son, Charles T. Aaron (right).

"We worked everyday together, we flew all over the U.S. Together in a helicopter, in all kinds of wx. We saw the most beautiful places and most wonderful things together. We shared our lives together almost everyday. God gave us a wonderful time together. Now he is with Him forever. I love you son. R.I. P. In heaven. God please show him favor, I'll be with you again someday. I love you son and will miss you! @charlestaaron#charlestaaron (sic)"

Earlier in the week, Chuck shared a video of his son's last helicopter flight and says he will be "in my thoughts everyday for the rest of my life".

Captioning the video, he wrote: "My son's last flight (here on earth). He was such a gentle giant AND my best friend! I love you Charles! You will be in my thoughts everyday for the rest of my life. I was so proud of you! (sic)"
