Kate Hudson had a “great time” filming ‘Marshall’.

The 37-year-old actress – who has been cast as Eleanor Strubing in the forthcoming thriller movie - has taken to social media to thank the crew and her fellow cast mates, which include Chadwick Boseman and Josh Gad, for the experience and for being “gracious and lovely”.

The ‘Mother’s Day’ star shared a picture of herself in character on her Instagram account alongside the caption: “That’s a wrap on Marshall What a great time we all had making this film! @joshgad @chadwickboseman @sterlingkb1 @thedanstevens @reggiehudlin Thank you buffalo for being gracious and lovely! Till next time #MarshallTheMovie (sic).”

‘Marshall’, which is directed by Reginald Hudlin and was written by Michael & Jacob Koskoff, will follow the story of the first African-American Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall on one of his first cases.

And Hudlin has admitted the experience and the constant supply of “warm bread” has ruined every other location he may travel to in the future.

Speaking previously about the set, he said: “You’ve ruined it for every other place we go to, because you have warm bread."

Whilst Gad has revealed the delicious cuisine has led him to gain an additional five pounds in weight.

He quipped: “We’re here for five weeks, but because of your chicken wings, my character puts on an average of five pounds a day.”

Meanwhile, Kate – who is the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson – has previously revealed she is particularly impressed with the 70-year-old star's use of social media, joking that her account on Instagram needs monitoring.

Speaking previously, she said: "I think my mom's Instagram posts are totally crazy - in the best way ... Yeah, that's my mom. I don't know what's going on. Sometimes I feel like commenting to Kevin at Instagram, who owns Instagram, that he needs to take down her Instagram account. He needs to monitor my mother's Instagram account."
