    George Shelly waxes his toes.

The former Union J singer admits the hair on the lower part of his feet can become so out of control that he has to use painful measures to get rid of it.

He tweeted: "I just waxed my toes, they were so hairy."

However, that didn't mean the end of his problems for his feet, adding: "They are still sweaty though."

George, 22, is not the only celebrity to recently make a confession about his toes and feet.

Penny Lancaster revealed how her husband Rod Stewart used to lick her toes when they first started dating.

The 45-year-old model - who married the rock legend in 2007 - made the foot fetish confession during an on-screen conversation about feet with her 'Loose Women' co-host Ruth Langsford.

Speaking on the ITV daytime show, Penny admitted: "There is that connection between the toes and other areas of your body, like the neck and your ears, so it can be quite sensual."

Asked if she lets Rod suck her toes, Penny responded: "In the beginning of the relationship when you're having a go at all sorts of things ... [he did] that sort of in between the toes, which feels nice."

Co-panelist Ruth then enquired, "What with?" prompting Penny to share, "His fingers or tongue."

Penny also revealed she enjoyed the experience because the feet are a very sensitive area of the body.

She said: "When you get reflexology they always touch those areas."
