Orlando Bloom is “happy” for Miranda Kerr.

The 39-year-old actor – who split from his ex-wife in 2013 after three years of marriage and have five-year-old son Flynn together – has “congratulated” the 33-year-old model on her recent engagement to Evan Spiegel.

Speaking to E! News about Miranda’s news, a source close to the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’ star said: “Orlando is happy for Miranda.

“He spoke with and congratulated her.

"Orlando knows that Evan treats Flynn well so that's all that matters to him."

Miranda announced the news she was set to tie the knot to the 26-year-old co-founder of the social media site Snapchat on Wednesday (20.07.16), and posted a picture of an animated versions of her and her fiancé, who was down on one knee presenting a ring to her, on her Instagram account over a picture of her real band.

She captioned the picture, which had "Marry me!" written on it, "I said yes!!!" And the star shared love heart and smiley face emojis.

Meanwhile, the dark-haired Hollywood hunk – who has been dating ‘Rise’ hitmaker Katy Perry since February this year- is also hoping to wed and expand his brood.

Speaking about Orlando’s love life, the insider said: “[Orlando] also plans to get married and have more kids one day.”

Meanwhile, his former partner is pleased Orlando is happy with his romance, which she can detect from the reaction of their son after he visits his father.

Speaking previously, Miranda said: “[Flynn] is what [I] care about.

“[Flynn] seems very happy every time he comes back [from seeing Orlando].”

And Orlando is relieved Flynn gets on with his step-father-to-be so well.

He said: “[Evan] gets along with Flynn really well.

“[Evan] is very much part of Flynn's life."
