Tinashe is a "good distraction" for Calvin Harris.

The 32-year-old DJ recently started casually seeing the 23-year-old R&B singer and friends say she has been taking his mind off his recent break-up with Taylor Swift and her new relationship with Tom Hiddleston.

A source told E! News: "Calvin has been hanging out with Tinashe a little more. He likes her but made it very clear to her he is not looking for anything serious.

"She is a hot girl and a good distraction from all the past drama Calvin had this month."

Another insider explained that Tinashe and Calvin have kept in touch since working together on his 2014 song 'Dollar Signs' but he is not ready for another serious relationship.

The source said: "He is not looking for anything serious at this time. He just wants to chill. He thinks she is a cool chick and pretty.

"They have always kept in touch but recently more since his breakup with Taylor. Work and feeling healthy is number one for him now. He wants the storm to pass with Taylor before he can even think of dating another woman seriously."

Calvin recently lashed out at Taylor on Twitter after her team confirmed that she had co-written his recent single, 'This Is What You Came For', under a pseudonym.

He wrote: "And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.

"Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though

"I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do

"I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it

"Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one

"God bless everyone have a beautiful day (sic)".
