Bette Midler, Charlie Puth, Sammy Hagar and Joan Jett have joined 'The Voice USA' as guest coaches

The quartet will pair up with the show's mentors, with Bette joining Blake Shelton, Sammy helping Adam Levine, Charlie working with Alicia Keys and Joan teaming up with Miley Cyrus, 'Voice' host Carson Daly announced on the 'Today' show.

This will be Miley and Alicia's first season on 'The Voice USA' and a special 30-minute episode of the show will debut on Sunday, August 21, after the closing ceremony of the 2016 Olympics.

Robert Greenblatt, NBC Entertainment Chairman, said: "The Olympics give us a unique chance to expose some of our strongest shows to millions of viewers who might not otherwise see them. So we wanted to ... blow the doors open on this fall's blind auditions of 'The Voice'

featuring Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus - our two new coaches - alongside Blake and Adam. Much appreciation to Mark Lazarus and our sports division who bring us the gift of the Olympics every two years."

Miley previously insisted she and Alicia won't be fighting on the set of 'The Voice'.

She said: "I think 'The Voice' this year is going to be very fun because we got Alicia [Keys] and it's the first year there's two girls. I think everyone loves to see Blake [Shelton] and Adam [Levine] go back and forth.

"We are very much the opposite. We were together today and it's like a total love fest. Her and I are both extremely mellow. I think people, when they put girls on TV, they [think], 'This is how we're going to get the ratings up because there's going to be drama and there's going to be cat fights.' They're thinking that we're just going to bring kind of the dramatics to the show and we couldn't be more opposite."
