Beyonce has heaped praise on "gracious and humble" Adele

The 'Formation' singer loves spending time with the British singer because she thinks she's really funny but she also admires the way the 'Hello' hitmaker - who has four-year-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki - leads her life.

She said: "It is so easy to talk to her and be around her. She's funny as hell and her comebacks are legendary. The most beautiful thing about Adele is that she has her priorities straight. She is a gracious woman and the most humble human being I've ever met."

And the 35-year-old singer - who is married to Jay Z and has a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy - loves Adele's soulful voice.

She told the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine: "When Adele sings you can hear that it's coming from an unfiltered honesty and purity.

"She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don't go to anymore -- the way they did in the '70s."

And the admiration is mutual, as Adele, 28, has been a fan of the former Destiny's Child singer since she was 11 years old.

She admitted: "She's my Michael Jackson."

The 'Skyfall' singer previously spoke of her admiration for Beyonce following the release of the pop superstar's album 'Lemonade'.

Sharing a picture of her hugging a cardboard cut-out of her idol, Adele wrote on Instagram earlier this year: "I'm not late on this I've just been speechless.

"Beyonce is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyonce X."
