Janet Jackson has only allowed "a select few" to see her baby

The 50-year-old singer and her husband Wissam Al Mana - who she married in 2012 - welcomed son Eissa into the world three weeks ago and while everyone is happy and healthy and things are running smoothly in their household, the couple haven't thrown open their doors to a lot of visitors.

A source told E! News: "Janet and her baby are doing well. She has hired help at home and her husband been with her through it all. It was a difficult pregnancy but she is very blessed and has a healthy baby. She has great doctors.

"A select few have seen her baby. She is so excited to be a mom."

And the 'Together Again' singer - who was seen out for the first time since giving birth at upmarket baby boutique Blue Almonds in London on Thursday (26.01.17) - wants nothing more to spend all her time with her son.

The source said: "She is totally in love. She is taking time to just be with her baby at this time and that's all she really wants."

Janet won't be rushing into trying to get back into shape and regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

The insider said: "Working out will come, but she is taking it easy at this time."

It was recently claimed Janet was very relaxed and being taken care of at the home she shares with her Qatari businessman spouse.

A source said: "Nurses are waiting on them hand and foot."

Despite being an older mother, Janet reportedly had an "easy birth" because she took such good care of herself during her pregnancy.

The source said: "It was an easy birth. Janet took extra care to rest."
