Victoria Beckham believes she and her husband David Beckham are "lucky to have each other"

The couple have been married almost 18 years and the 42-year-old beauty insists her retired soccer superstar spouse "inspires" her every day and is her "soulmate".

Victoria, 42, admits her heart melts when she watches him dote on their four children; sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and 12-year-old Cruz, and five-year-old daughter Harper.

In an interview on US TV show 'Today', she said: "He's my soulmate. We really compliment each other. He's the most incredible husband, fantastic father. He inspires me every day. Not just seeing him with the children and how he treats me. It just works. We're lucky to have each other."

Last year, Victoria made the decision to spur the chance to reunite with the rest of the Spice Girls - Emma Bunton, Mel B, Geri Horner and Mel C, who also said no to the reformation - to focus on her eponymous fashion label.

Even though she believes her days of performing 'Wannabe' on stage are behind her she is happy she will forever be known by her Spice nickname 'Posh'.

Victoria - who was appearing on the 'Today' show to talk about her new VB x Target collaboration - said: "There won't be a reunion because I think that when we performed at the [London] Olympics, that was so great and that was us celebrating everything that we'd achieved. I still talk to all the other girls. We're still very close, but I think you need to know when it's time to actually say, 'That was great, we achieved a lot,' and everybody moves on. But I'll always be Posh."
