Jane Fonda tries out "all different kinds of vibrators" ahead of filming the new season of 'Grace and Frankie'

The 79-year-old actress - who stars in the comedy drama alongside Lily Tomlin - ensured she did thorough research for a new plot that sees her character launch a business selling vibrators to older adults.

She admitted: "We tried all different kinds of vibrators. Use it or lose it, right?"

Jane tried to show off one of the vibrators in question during her interview, much to the horror of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen said: "I cannot show that. I cannot show that."

The veteran actress also revealed she has a sex toy of her own which looks like a "beautiful piece" of jewellery.

She said: "I have one that hangs around my neck and it looks like a beautiful piece of silver jewellery. It depends on who you're with and what the bathroom looks like."

Meanwhile, Jane recently reunited with her frequent co-star Robert Redford - who she previously worked with on 'The Chase' in 1966, 'Barefoot in the Park' a year later and 'The Electric Horseman' in 1979 - in 'Our Souls at Night' and she admitted she always forgets her lines when they shoot together because she gets overwhelmed by his handsome features.

She said: "The only problem with working with Bob is I kind of look into his eyes and I kind of fall into his eyes and forget my dialogue."

And the actress admitted that working with her 80-year-old pal this time around has made her realise she's finally "grown up" because she isn't "in love" with him any more.

She said: "I realise that I've grown up because in the three previous movies, I was always in love with him.

"I fell in love with him every time. So, if a day went by and he wouldn't speak to me, I always took it personally.

"Now, when he doesn't talk to me, I'm just like, 'Hey Bob, come on.' "
