Trey Songz has urged men to play his music to make their partners "happy" in the bedroom

The 32-year-old singer has advised people to create a playlist including his 2009 hit 'Neighbours Know My Name', 'Dive In' and 'We Should Be' when they want to seduce their partner and enjoy a steamy sex session, although he has revealed he "stays away" from playing his own music to his lovers when he is getting hot under the bed sheets.

Speaking about his tips for a night of passion in an interview with GQ.com, the hunk said: "From my songs. I kind of stay away from playing my music. But If I had to pick three. My man, if you want to make women happy definitely play my music. 'Neighbours Know My Name', of course, 'Dive In' is a great one, and 'We Should Be'."

However, Trey - whose full name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson - has suggested people should actually "lengthen" their compilation to include more than a trio of tracks.

He quipped: "Well, three songs are very short romantic playlist, so I would advise you get some more songs and lengthen your playlist.

"The music that I make is made for women. The parties are attend, or I'm paid to host, or the shows that I'm paid to perform at, the way I take care of my family is making music for women."

The Virginia-born star believes it is important for a man to "cater" to his girlfriend or wife and know everything she likes, even her preference of chicken.

He explained: "Catering specifically to the woman you're dating or involved with, if you're cooking chicken you should know if she likes white or dark meat ... it's what makes you different to other men."

And the 'Bottoms Up' hitmaker - who is set to unveil his seventh album 'Tremaine' on Friday (24.03.17) - has revealed he is "definitely" open to dating a fan and would struggle to "axe out" the option.

He explained: "I think it's hard to axe that out, beating it up and making music for so long, that doesn't mean that doesn't mean that a fan can't be a fan in my work place. But I think I would definitely date a fan.

"In order to have love, you have to be ready to receive love."

But Trey is more likely to approach a girl and ask her on a date than the other way around.

He said: "I'm a man that loves to approach, that's what I think men should do. But I'm not opposed to a woman who speaks their mind and knows what they want."
