Adriana Lima's has claimed "the best" restaurant in Miami as her "home"

The 35-year-old Brazilian supermodel has enjoyed living in the sunny area in America for the past five years because it reminds her of her home country and she has described the city in Florida as her "base", although she has revealed her favourite eatery is her true residence.

Speaking to Ocean Drive Magazine, the brunette beauty said: "The best restaurant in Miami, I have to say, is my home.

"I wanted to find a base where it was always summer, always nice and welcoming, with warm people and a beautiful ocean. I just fell in love with Miami. Plus, there are so many Brazilians here, too, so I feel like I'm in Brazil. I love to go walk the streets and Wynwood Walls and look at art."

And the brunette beauty - who has daughters Sienna, four, and Valentina, seven, with her ex-husband Marko Jaric - has hinted she's not recognised when she ambles around Miami because she stays "pretty low-key" with minimal make-up.

She explained: "I'm pretty low-key when I'm walking around - I think because people are used to seeing me with make-up and hair and in lingerie. I usually don't wear any make-up and [have] my hair up, and I'm always in sports clothes, especially with my kids."

Although Adriana has reportedly split from her previous boyfriend Julian Edelman earlier this month, she has admitted she is in love "every day" and is overwhelmed with the warming feeling when she wakes up to her children.

The Victoria's Secret catwalk star - who acquired her Angel wings in 2000 - explained: "There are different forms of love - you cannot generalize it. I'm in love every day. I wake up and have two beautiful girls before me whose happiness is my happiness."

Adriana looked stunning in a gold tasseled mini-dress at the Ocean Drive Magazine cover party held at KOMODO Restaurant in Miami, Florida.
