David Walliams is dating Sylvia Flote

The 45-year-old comedian and television personality was spotted out on a dinner date with the Norwegian model, sparking speculation the pair are in a relationship.

David and Sylvia were seen heading back to his car after enjoying a night out at Harry’s Bar in Mayfair, London.

An onlooker told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "They looked like they had a good night. Both were all smiles, though David looked slightly less happy when he noticed that they had been spotted in each other’s company."

His new romance comes after he split from model Lara Stone in 2015 after five years of marriage.

A source said at the time that David was "devastated" by the divorce.

They revealed: "David has been putting on a brave face. But people close to him are very worried because they know he's devastated. David is used to hiding his emotions with comedy because that's what he's always done. But on the inside, it is a real wrench ... It has stunned David's friends and TV colleagues. Everyone thought the marriage was strong."

And it was claimed the pair - who share three-year-old son Alfred - went their separate ways because there wasn't as much "fun" in their marriage anymore.

An insider shared: "They adore their son but Lara also loves to have fun and a lot of the fun has gone. They're both aware they have not spent enough time together but David really wants to change that.

"Lara and David are just victims of their own amazing success. They both have incredible careers; he is always working - he has books, TV shows, films and offers coming out of his ears - and she flies around the world non-stop because she's one of the most successful models of her generation ...

"David is in pieces. His friends are really worried because he hasn't talked about it. He keeps everything hidden with a big smile and a busy schedule, but everyone knows how much she means, how much his family, his son mean. Splitting up for good is not something he will entertain."
