Sarah Paulson felt the urge to hum Rihanna songs on the set of 'Ocean's Eight'

The 42-year-old actress appears alongside the Bajan beauty in the new Gary Ross-director movie and Sarah has admitted that, like the rest of the cast, she spent much of the time on set trying to stop herself from singing some of Rihanna's hits.

Sarah shared: "A lot of us spent a lot of time not singing Rihanna songs. We all sort of covertly were like, 'Are you doing it, too?'"

Sarah said her castmates - who include the likes of Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway - would feel an especially strong urge to hum Rihanna tunes whenever she would turn around and look at them.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Everyone would be like, 'Stop'. It was a lot of collective winking."

Despite the on-set awkwardness, Sarah relished the opportunity to work with Rihanna, describing the chart-topping star as "one of the coolest gals around".

The actress explained: "You don't want to be a supreme doofus-magoofus in front of Rihanna. You wanna keep a little bit of a cool quotient, which I, as you can tell, I'm not super successful at."

Last week, Rihanna revealed she can't bear watching herself on TV.

The 'Work' hitmaker shared a video of herself viewing her sex scenes in 'Psycho' prequel 'Bates Motel' on Instagram Live in her debut episode of the new series of the thriller show as Marion Crane, Norman Bates' victim.

In the clip, Rihanna covered her face during the scene where she gets intimate with her on-screen boyfriend, Sam Loomis (Austin Nichols), and the musician admitted she can't stand the sound of her own voice.

She said: "This is so weird, oh my God. I can't. I can't hear my voice. It's, like, gross!"
