Amy Schumer says it was a "complete dream come true" to work with Goldie Hawn

The 35-year-old actress and comedienne was thrilled when the 71-year-old actress agreed to star in 'Snatched' alongside her after they bumped into each other on a plane.

Asked how she approached her for the role, she told Entertainment Tonight: "I just approached her on a plane and she is very sweet, she is a lot nicer than me. I was like, 'Yeah, I want you to to be in a movie with me.' And she was like, 'OK, honey.'

"This was a complete dream come true. There is no one funnier, or I would ever dream of working with more than Goldie!"

Meanwhile, Goldie previously admitted she believes ‘Snatched’ is the “best” film to be created.

She said: “I’m a mother to my daughter and I’m a mother to Amy, and that’s what mattered - it’s that movie that matters. It doesn’t compare to any other movie I’ve ever done.

“I’m saying it’s the best. It was great. Every woman is different, and every experience is different. I’ve done a lot of action movies, I’ve done a lot of comedy movies.”

Whilst Amy added: "I come offering Goldie Hawn. It’s still blowing my mind, it’s the biggest dream come true. I was like, ‘This is happening.’ I kind of secreted it. I never read that book, but I’m assuming it."

And director Jonathan Levine says Goldie was in "better shape" than anyone else working on the movie.

He said: "Goldie probably has more experience there.

"Goldie was 70 years old and I was concerned about her running about but it turns out I needn't have worried.

"She was in better shape than any other person on that set. The only difficulty was telling her it was time to stop."
