Jennifer Lawrence thinks her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky is "brilliant"

The 27-year-old actress is currently in a relationship with the filmmaker, and after working together on the set of their new movie 'Mother!', Jennifer thinks Darren's directing skills have an "artistic uniqueness" to them.

Asked what makes the 48-year-old filmmaker so great, Jennifer said: "I mean, his point of view, his artistic uniqueness. He's just brilliant. Incredibly instinctual."

Darren has similar kind words to say about his 'Hunger Games' star beau too, as he called her a "once-in-a-generation talent".

When the same question was put to the 'Black Swan' director, he said: "Well, I don't know what makes her great - maybe it was her parents, maybe it was the Kentucky water. I have no idea, but she's, like, a once-in-a-generation talent, and just a whirlwind and a hurricane and an earthquake and a thunderstorm of talent."

And the couple didn't let their personal life affect their working relationship on the set of 'Mother!', as Jennifer was "very very relaxed" when it came to balancing their personal and professional lives.

Darren told 'Entertainment Tonight' when asked if their romance affected their professionalism: "Not at all - I mean, she's very, very relaxed. She's the type of actor that turns off all the intensity when she's not shooting, and then flips it on when she needs it. And so, in between action and cut, she's the character, and then when you call cut, she's Jennifer Lawrence again."

It isn't the first time the happy couple have gushed over one another either, as the 'Joy' actress recently praised her boyfriend for making their romance easy by making sure she's "never confused".

She said: "For the past year, I've been dealing with him as just a human. I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him."
