Heidi Montag has hinted she's gone into labour

The former 'Hills' star isn't due to give birth for another four weeks but it looks like her little bundle of joy - believed to be a boy - has decided to make an early appearance as she has sparked speculation that her waters have broken with a cryptic post online.

Taking to her Twitter account on Thursday (14.09.17) night, the 31-year-old blonde beauty said: "Well... looks like this baby will be coming early (sic)."

Heidi's worrying tweet comes less than a week after she and her husband Spencer Pratt celebrated their pregnancy with a miracle-themed baby shower.

Speaking to Us Magazine during the lavish bash, held in Los Angeles, Heidi said: "It's a miracle we're even having a kid. We've been praying for this baby for years."

The 31-year-old star recently said her spouse, 34, was keen for her to have "crystals" in her birthing room because they "represent spiritual protection, health and a higher realm of love" but, with her baby seemingly making an early appearance, it's probably unlikely that their couple - who got married in 2009 - have had time to organise that.

Meanwhile, Heidi has made no secret of the fact that she's wanted a family of her own but work commitments have forced the pair to put their baby plans on hold until now.

Heidi said: "It might never be the perfect time, so we said, Let's move forward. We had all these conversations. We're older, we have more life experience. Nothing is holding us back. I wanted a baby three years ago. Spencer was a little hesitant.

"Then one thing after another came up. We had work obligations, like 'Celebrity Big Brother' in the UK, which I did not want to be pregnant for. I'm actually really thankful we waited. I thought I was ready in my twenties, but with everything we had going on, it just wouldn't have been a good situation for us.

"I have never been more excited. The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child! I've read every pregnancy book, and now I see I don't know anything."
