Halle Berry got fired from a bar job for making the drinks too strong

The 51-year-old actress was incredibly popular with the customers in the Chicago nightspot she landed her first job in, and though she wasn't of legal age to sell alcohol, it wasn't her fake ID that got her fired after just a few months.

Speaking to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, she admitted: "I wasn't even old enough to be a bartender. I was in a big city, and I was 19 years old.

"I wasn't very good, but I ended up being good because I would say, 'OK, so what do you want?' And they would say, 'Sex on the beach,' and I would say, 'Interesting, what is in a Sex on the Beach?' And they would tell me, and I would just start pouring.

"I put way too much alcohol in everything, so imagine the tips I got, but I lost my job in about three months.

"They were going through liquor like you would not believe."

The 'Kidnap' actress - who has nine-year-old daughter Nahla with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and son Maceo, three, with her former spouse Olivier Martinez - recently celebrated two million Instagram followers by sharing a funny photo of herself on the toilet wearing a fur coat, and she revealed it's the only picture she's ever digitally altered.

Halle used Photoshop to make her coat longer so other people couldn't use computer wizardry to make the image seem indecent.

She explained: "I had to make sure that you could see absolutely nothing. When I first did it, there was a dark spot right between where my legs come together, and I thought somebody's going to superimpose some lips and say, 'I see vagina!'.

"So I just dropped those [coat] hairs down a little longer. It's the only picture I ever PhotoShopped on all of my Instagrams, because I'm not going to give somebody that opportunity."

And while the 'Monster's Ball' actress recently made her relationship with Alex da Kid official on Instagram, she wouldn't say whether or not it was the music producer who took the toilet photo.

She said: "Well, that's a secret. It's a secret who took that picture!"
