Zoe Kravitz has had to "pull" Cara Delevingne away from people on a night out because the British babe has such a "fiery" temper

The 'Big Little Lies' star loves hanging out with her model-turned-actress pal but admits the model-and-actress has a temper that can get her into trouble.

She said: "Cara? That girl is the bomb. She's fiery, she might be more fiery than I am. I've had to pull her off people."

But the 28-year-old actress also has a "fiery" side of her own which can sometimes lead to fans getting offended, though she insists she is not "an asshole".

She said: "I have a fiery side. I can be confrontational Like, it's nice to meet you but if I'm having a bad day or I'm eating a burrito on my way back from the gym and you're not aware of my space and not treating me like a real person, then, 'No, I don't want a photo with you' doesn't mean I'm an asshole."

The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' star is the daughter of actress Lisa Bonet and singer Lenny Kravitz and she admitted she has had to prove herself as an actress in her own right, but she can understand why people would be apprehensive about her move into the spotlight.

She told Britain's Vogue magazine: "I understand that if the daughter of somebody starts working, the world goes, 'OK, we'll see if they're serious'. I think I've stuck it out."

Despite her glamorous lifestyle, Zoe admitted she'd far rather watch the Oscars on TV in the comfort of her own home than attend the glitzy ceremony.

She said: "For 'Mad Max' I did all the Oscars parties, schmoozing, hanging out, but for the ceremony it was more fun watching at home in sweatpants, eating food and cheering."
