Miley Cyrus has teased Blake Shelton for being People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive

The 24-year-old 'Malibu' hitmaker is one of the coaches on 'The Voice US' along with Blake, Adam Levine and Jennifer Hudson and in a video posted to her Twitter account, Miley pans the camera onto the 41-year-old singer who is seen sipping from a black cup with his pinkie finger in the air

Miley captioned the video "@blakeshelton just bein real sexy..... (sic)" and says in the video: "I am live with the Sexiest Man Alive. Pinkies up for being sexy. No one knows more about sexy than me! Sorry Blakey. Love ya!"

'Came Here To Forget' singer Blake was chosen by the American magazine to be the 2017 recipient of its annual accolade and he admitted his girlfriend Gwen Stefani had to convince him to accept the title.

Asked what went through his mind when he found out about he'd been chosen, he quipped: "That y'all must be running out of people. Like, 'Wow, we're down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical' ... She [Gwen] goes, 'Listen to me, you're going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don't take this gift and just live in the moment.'"

Blake isn't the first judge on 'The Voice' to be given the prestigious accolade after Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was crowned Sexiest Man Alive back in 2013.

Whilst Adam, 38, held the title for 12 months he got married to Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo and said it was a great "ego boost" and has joked it may contributed to Behati's decision to say yes to his marriage proposal.

Speaking to Shortlist Magazine recently, he said: "Well, I got married! Which was great. [Being the world's sexiest non-corpse] is the least and most important thing. I mean - it's flattering. It's an ego boost and an honour. Thank you, People magazine!"
