    DJ Khaled has given Weight Watchers a boost after becoming their latest celebrity ambassador

    The 'I'm the One' hitmaker will document his progress on social media as he completes the "WW Freestyle" weight-loss program and has been welcomed to the fold by fellow ambassador Oprah Winfrey


    DJ Khaled told his 8.9 million Instagram followers: "In full 2018 mode ... excited to be living this #WWFreestyle life with you. I already Got rid of 20 pounds and ready for more. Ride with me on my journey to greatness. Bless up Weight Watchers!!! #2018secured what I love about this it's a life style and I still can enjoy at the same time ride wit me though this journey ! I CAN SHOW YOU BETTER THAN I CAN TELL YOU ... I'm so focused let's go!! @weightwatchers (sic)"

    The 'All I Do Is Win' musician has shared a string of videos of himself eating healthy meals and exercising as he tries to get his head around the diet's points system.

    WW Freestyle users enter what they have eaten into an app on their phone which then tells them how many points they have consumed, with the daily target being 40 points.

    Khaled also posted a video of himself in a swimming pool with his 15-month-old child Asahd, and admitted one of his main reasons for wanting to lose weight is because, "I love my son."

    Oprah tweeted the 42-year-old DJ saying: "@djkhaled Welcome to #WWFreestyle. Can't wait to see you #blessup this program (sic)"

    Khaled shared his delight at being tweeted by Oprah, posting a picture of himself grinning, captioned: "The smile ? you make when @oprah tweets you ! (sic)"

    Shares of Weight Watchers rose eight per cent following the announcement.

    Khaled has 3.9 million Twitter followers and gets three to four million views per Snapchat post.
