Hailey Baldwin is "nervous" about hosting the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night (11.03.18)

The 21-year-old model is set to present the annual bash at The Forum in Inglewood, California, and has admitted to feeling slightly anxious about her task

She explained: "I'm nervous about how calm I am. I've been watching past iHearts and trying to get spiffy with the prompter reading."

Ahead of the event, Hailey has been busily preparing by seeking advice from some friends who are artists.

And the American star revealed that they have all reiterated the same piece of advice.

Hailey - who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin - said: "It's always kind of been the same thing - try to take it easy and don't overdue it.

"I think people gravitate more towards someone being genuine. They can call when you're forcing it."

However, one person Hailey hasn't yet spoken to is fellow model Gigi Hadid, who hosted the iHeartRadio Music Awards back in 2016.

The blonde beauty thinks Gigi is aware that she's presenting the show with DJ Khaled, but admitted that they haven't discussed it with each other.

She told People: "She knows, I think, that I'm doing it, but I may end up giving her a call. She's a vet when it comes to this."

Hailey started hosting the TBS show 'Drop the Mic' in 2017, and she thinks that experience will stand her in good stead to present the awards bash.

The world-famous model - who is rumoured to be dating Canadian singer Shawn Mendes - shared: "I've presented at many awards shows so it's not something that's very foreign to me.

"But it is the first time I'm doing it specifically just me with another person."
