Dave Berry has married his girlfriend Sarah-Jane Davies in a secret ceremony

The Absolute Radio host tied the knot to his ex-talent manager girlfriend during an intimate ceremony in London on Friday (09.03.18), after he proposed to the beauty during a trip to Rome last year

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Dave confirmed: “I asked Sarah-Jane to marry me whilst in Rome, we’d been travelling around the world for a few months and it was the perfect city to do it in.

“We got hitched in Old Marylebone Town Hall followed by the most amazing family lunch.”

The 39-year-old radio presenter has kept the details of his romance with Sarah-Jane largely under wraps, and the pair have never gone public with their relationship, despite having been dating for a number of years.

According to The Sun, Dave skipped his Absolute Radio show on Friday in favour of the ceremony, which was attended by his closest friends and family, who were also then invited to a modest reception at the private dining rooms of The Ivy Club.

The publication also reported that on Saturday (10.03.18), the couple threw another party for other friends and colleagues at London’s Hotel Café Royal.

Previously, Dave was engaged to Sugarbabes singer Heidi Range, before they parted ways in December 2011.

Meanwhile, Dave recently picked up his drive time slot at Absolute Radio after he formerly hosted the ‘The Capital Breakfast Show’ on Capital FM alongside George Shelley and Lilah Parsons, which he left in April 2017.

He said in a statement at the time: "Ten years ago I got my first job in radio on Capital. I've had an amazing time - it really is the best job in the world waking up my fellow Londoners, and working with George and Lilah has been loads of fun.

"I'll miss our lovely listeners and everyone here at Capital a huge amount. I'm leaving to pursue some of my other passions and it's safe to say I'll be walking away with some incredible memories!"
