Wellington City Council's hoping to spend 34-million-dollars to help improve bus services

In its draft 10 year plan, the council's earmarked the money for bus priority lanes and new shelters.
Public transport portfolio holder Sarah Free says as the city's population continues to grow - it's important it has an efficient and user friendly public transport system.
She says they're hoping to roll out 70 to 80 new bus shelters over the next decade.
Potential bus priority lanes have also been identified between the Railway Station and Cambridge Terrace.
