Joe Moody has been inspired by an All Black team mate as he eyes his return to Super Rugby
12 May 2018
Moody will play his first Super game of the year for the Crusaders against the Waratahs at AMI Stadium tomorrow night, after recovering from shoulder surgery and a finger injury.
Tighthead prop Owen Franks returned last month after recovering from achilles surgery, and Moody says if he can play to a similar level on his own return, he'll be reasonably happy.
He says Franks was pretty inspiring coming straight in without transitioning from club rugby.
Kick off from Christchurch is at 5:15pm, before the Highlanders host the Lions at 7:35pm.
