A New York nanny convicted of fatally stabbing two young children in her care has been sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole

The crime that has been described as every parent's nightmare.
Yoselyn Ortega was found guilty of murdering both Lucia and Leo Krim, aged six an two, and leaving their bloody bodies in a bathtub in their luxury Manhattan apartment in October 2012.
The 56 year old has asked for forgiveness... saying she hadn't been feeling well on the day of the murders.
A judge has called the case "pure evil".
