Dunedin Police say they're disappointed with the results of a checkpoint they set up in the city centre this morning

They says in an hour there were 11 infringements issued for using a cell phone while driving and six for failing to wear seatbelts.
Police say they're concerned there is clearly a section of the driving community where the message around seatbelts and cell phone usage is not getting through. There is no excuse.
