Wellington's signed former Black Caps all-rounder Jimmy Neesham for the next domestic cricket season

Neesham is moving to the capital after seven seasons with Otago.

Wellington coach Bruce Edgar says Neesham is a quality player who will add a lot to their middle order with the bat and will complement their pace attack.

Edgar says Jimmy Neesham's been very clear that a return to the national side is part of his focus.

It's been almost a year since Neesham played for the Black Caps.
