Mark Rudan will take the reins for the next two seasons, replacing Darije Kalezic , who announced his departure in March.
The 'Nix finished ninth last season, with just five wins, and Rudan says a lot of change needs to happen for the club to be successful.
He says not just the players, but the staff and stakeholders will understand where they're heading and that's to be successful and there will be some non-negotiable aspects.
Mark Rudan comes to Wellington having previously held an assistant coaching role with the Australian under-20 side and guiding Sydney United to New South Wales Premier League and Australian Premier League titles.
