While French coach Jacques Brunel has retracted comments about a tackle that left wing Remy Grosso with a double face fracture, the incident has sparked strong debate around the world.
Tighthead prop Owen Franks says it's a big challenge, given how fast things unfold on a rugby field.
He says he wasn't aware of an incident last month involving himself and James Parsons from the Blues until after the fact, as things happen at such a speed in the ruck.
Franks says you need to take a extra moment to sight your target and be very aware of how you are using your body.
