An Auckland tattoo studio director has been fined for inking a teenager without the permission of his parents

Hyun Ok Kim was ordered to pay 350 dollars in reparation and 130 dollars court costs.
The actual tattooist, Aaron Vandenberg, was convicted and fined a similar amount last month, in the the first prosecution of its kind by Auckland Council.
The teen had claimed to be 19 years old but was not asked for any proof of that.
The maximum penalty's a fine of 20-thousand dollars.
