The All Blacks' 26-13 second test win over France has been overshadowed by a refereeing decision
17 June 2018
French fullback Benjamin Fall was sent off in just the 12th minute after being judged to have taken out All Blacks first five Beauden Barrett in the air.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says it's always a shame when some is red carded.
Hansen says particularly when it's for an offence which is not really intentional, the player is just challenging the ball but the referee has to award red card him because that's what's in the rules.
He says it does spoil the game.
The All Blacks scored four tries including a brace to fullback Jordie Barrett is what was an underwhelming and error ridden test.
