    - article from

Tony replaces John Bishop as the new independent board director, who's retiring after eight years.

Tony has most recently been involved with Baseball New Zealand, where he's also been the acting CEO.

Motu Tony also led the high performance programme with Hull FC in the United Kingdom, and was general manager of football operations there between 2013 and 2017.

He played 13 tests for the Kiwis between 2001 and 2006.
