There's more evidence the electric car revolution is gathering speed

Vector has reported a near-tripling in the use of its charging stations, in the past year.
Drivers plugged in for a boost 66 thousand times across its 18 Auckland fast chargers, compared with 22 thousand the year before.
Vector chief Simon Mackenzie thinks higher fuel prices might have something to do with it, and it'll be interesting to see if the new fuel tax will encourage more people to look at switching over.
