There are claims the medical privacy of up to 800,000 Aucklanders has been put at risk

The Privacy Commissioner has been contacted by four Australasian healthcare IT companies over their concerns.
They say ProCare Health is putting sensitive private information about the patients into a large database.
ProCare Health runs a network of community-based healthcare services, and strongly denies patient privacy is being compromised.
The IT companies say it's not acceptable to hold so much identifiable information in one place and it could be in breach of the NZ Health Information Privacy Code
