Fonterra says not being a one trick pony ... has paid off

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
The company's reported net profit dropped 22 percent, to 391 million, in the six months to January.

Discounting last year's asset sales, the normalised figure was 418 million.

Chief executive Miles Hurrell says the co-op's been differentiating its milk through innovation, sustainability and efficiency.

He says this kind of diversification has been a real strength through Covid.
