    To sailing..

    To sailing..

Alligators have stopped golf rounds, snakes have postponed football matches and now a whale has stopped Sail GP in San Francisco.

The race for the US one million dollar prize between Japan, the United States and Australia was postponed as a result.

However, they restarted the race in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge and old Alcatraz prison, with Australia winning the Grand Finals for the second straight year.

New Zealand has finished their first season campaign fifth - but won race four today.
