    New Zealand chase spots in seven A finals on day three of the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Canada overnight


    Lisa Carrington has the K1 500 semis and K2 500 semis with Alicia Hoskin.

    It's a relatively new combination - Carrington teamed with the now retired Caitlin Regal to win Olympic gold last year.

    Coach Gordon Walker says they've identified one major work on.



    There are also semi finals for the men's K4 500, the men's K2 500, the K1 1000, 500 and 200.
