The Prime Minister and her official delegation have departed New Zealand, bound for Queen's funeral in the UK

Jacinda Ardern and a select few representatives will touch down in London tomorrow afternoon, ahead of the Monday ceremony.

Ardern's flying commercially and will spend the weekend in London.

It's unclear at this stage what her schedule will include.

She told media on Monday it was important she attend the funeral as a mark of respect - as New Zealand's head of Government.
